IJT programmes help revitalise Jewish life by offering all Jewish children access to a education and supporting programmes such as camps, social activities and holiday celebrations. IJT also strengthens local Jewish life through social, religious and cultural programmes for children, youth and adults. These programmes are facilitated by the Evelyn Peters Jewish Community Centre in collaboration with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
GAN KATAN
Informal Jewish educational class for children aged 5-12 years old in Thane, Mumbai and the western suburbs.
GOLDEN AGE GROUP
An enthusiastic group of senior citizens who meet for social and informative events throughout the year.
DAY CAMP
Twice a year, children from Gan Katan and beyond join us for a week of engaging education and fun. All the lessons, games and activities are planned by local trained youth volunteers.
WEEKLY CLASSES
Torah class immerses students in the study of Tanakh and Jewish history.

LADIES CAMP
A three day retreat just for the empowerment of the women of our community. The ladies travel to a nearby resort to share, learn and have fun together in a safe space.
OROT HA TORAH
A monthly gathering of ladies to celebrate together the start of the Jewish month, Rosh Chodesh. Sessions include educational learning, cooking, crafts and discussions
